The Traveller

The traveller continues on,
For he knows no true home.
Departing at the break of dawn,
He continues to roam.

The traveller knows many things,
And this knowledge he spreads.
With lowly thief or courtly king,
His knowledge crowns their heads.

The traveller holds no grudges
To any that he sees.
Believing he’s no right to judge,
Even when on his knees.

He turns his head away from all
The evil, guilt and strife.
Not yielding to their constant call,
Throughout all of his life.

Yet his greatest mistake of all
Is ignoring these things.
As yes, he does indeed stand tall,
But they still spread their wings.
